Capoeira Vidcast

I came across this vidcast on podcastpickle.com and decided to add it to my blog for your viewing pleasure.  If you have a passion or curiosity for Capoeira, you will enjoy this!  I am building content for my first official intro to My Jogo, My Game so keep checking back. It should be up by 09/15/06. I have also added a category for podcasts and vidcasts.  When I may come across either of those about Capoeira, I will post them there.  Alright I am done for the day…check back within a week for some new content on my world of Capoeira.

Hello world!

You are about to enter the world of Capoeira!  Pronounced Càpuwayra, this is a Brazilian martial art that was developed by Afro-Brazilian slaves from way, way back in the day.  Contrary to popular opinion, it is not a dance and it is not aerobics or acrobatics.  It is an art that encompasses self preservation, defense, evasion, and attack all in a fluid motion of the body and soul.  Do you wanna know more…I am sure you do!
